for therapists

your poly clients don't have between-session tools built for them. and if you're also poly, most platforms weren't built for you either.

tessakin is between-session infrastructure for the clients you send home with homework · and a private space for your own relationships, with discretion built in.

this page serves you in two ways · scroll for both.

the gap

the tools your clients actually need.

tessakin is relationship infrastructure designed for people with multiple relationships. the practices your clients do between sessions are structured, private, and built for how they actually love.

daily check-ins that work across multiple partnerships simultaneously. weekly gratitude practices that create a visible record of what's going right. monthly or quarterly structured reviews that bring the RADAR framework to life as something interactive and recurring. a living agreement they build together and revisit over time. a guided repair practice for after a rupture. group and new-connection practices for polycules, metamours, and the early days of a crush. an attachment-informed quiz that gives both of you a shared vocabulary before the first session.

all of it works for dyads, triads, and larger polycules. all of it creates a timeline your client can show you in session.

practices your clients can use between sessions

structured homework that's already built.

every practice uses the same mechanic: both people answer privately, then see each other's answers together. honesty comes from writing alone. connection comes from the reveal.

accordnew

seven sections your clients build together and revisit over time · shape, communication, care, the physical and sexual, when it's hard, other partners, money and home. private-then-reveal mechanic · nothing gets asserted unilaterally. the physical and sexual section is extra-guarded (never surfaces on profiles or feeds). designed to grow with the relationship over time.

complements: relationship contract exercises, structured negotiation homework, living-agreement work, DTR framework

thread

new crush · daily

supports: early relationship formation, reciprocal self-disclosure, pacing

forty questions across two phases, one a day, between a client and a new crush. each answers privately, then the answers reveal together. structured, gradual self-disclosure for the early days, before the shape of a connection is decided.

weave

group · weekly

supports: polycule cohesion, group communication, metamour connection

a group practice for three or more. one question a week, everyone answers before anyone sees, twenty questions across two phases (about five months). for the polycule, the friend circle, the metamours who deserve the same depth as a dyad.

complements: group check-in facilitation, metamour relationship work, polycule communication

mend

after a rupture

supports: rupture repair, conflict de-escalation, accountability work

what your client can show you in session

a visible record of how they're tending.

every practice creates moments. pulse milestones, glimmers reveals, tending sessions, embers nights, accord revisits. they accumulate on a shared timeline between partners. your client can open their phone in session and show you the last month of intentional relationship work.

for clients with multiple partners, the timeline shows distinct rhythms with each. daily pulse with one partner, weekly glimmers with another, monthly tending with both, an accord with the anchor partner. each relationship tended on its own terms, all visible in one place.

“the outcomes of couples therapy are directly tied to what happens outside the therapist's office. homework completion, daily practice of communication skills, and consistent intentional check-ins between partners all significantly improve therapy outcomes.”

contemporary family therapy (2021), review of nine studies involving over 2,000 couples. structured relationship skills practice, including digital tools, led to meaningful improvements in satisfaction, communication, and emotional connection.

for you · if you're also poly

tessakin was built for the people we serve. we built the discretion tools for you.

practicing in the poly and ENM community and being in it yourself creates a specific problem · your professional world and your personal life share a member roster. most platforms make that worse. tessakin makes it a designed-for case.

discretion

quiet mode · discoverable only to your kin

a profile setting that hides you from search, autocomplete, “in the community” activity feeds, and space member lists · to anyone who isn't your direct kin. your partners see you fully.a client browsing tessakin doesn't find you at all. we don't diagnose the overlap for you · we give you the tool to reduce accidental exposure.

event RSVPs stay visible on attendee lists · both parties benefit from knowing who's coming.

peer support

the practitioners spacecoming soon

a private space on tessakin for therapists, coaches, attorneys, and other professionals who practice in the poly / ENM / kink community and are in it themselves. peer support for the specific tension of dual worlds. self-nomination via professional attestation · site staff verify. discussion, referrals, the peer sanity check that comes with talking to people who work the same terrain.

referrals

list your practice in the directory

the tessakin directory is a paid referral surface for ENM-affirming practitioners and businesses. your listing is the practice, not the person · owner identity stays private by default. clients find you by category, location, and community-attested affirmations. reviews attach to the business.

your personal account and your directory listing don't have to be linked.

the overlap in practice

what we don't try to do

we don't ask you to declare your clients. we don't try to detect overlap. we don't auto-block anyone from anyone. those systems would be too invasive, too likely to fail at the wrong moment, and too easy to weaponize. what we give you is defaults that reduce accidental exposure· the discretion is yours to maintain in situ. don't comment on a client's post. don't RSVP publicly to an event you'll skip. the ordinary discretion of any professional life.

learning resources

a shared vocabulary for you and your clients.

tessakin's learn pillar has resources that serve both therapists and clients.

glossary

a growing collection of ENM and polyamory terms. relationship anarchy, metamour, compersion, kitchen table poly, parallel poly, nesting partner, comet. defined by the community that uses them.

explore the glossary →

practice essays

the thinking behind each practice. why pulse is daily. why glimmers has three prompts. why accord uses propose-and-confirm. useful for understanding what you're recommending and why it's designed the way it is.

read the essays →

member writings

longer-form essays by community members on polyamory, relationship structure, communication, and identity.

read the writings →

if you're newer to working with ENM clients, the glossary and essays give you fluency without requiring you to learn from your clients in session. if you're experienced, these are resources you can point your clients to between sessions for shared context.

what tessakin is not.

tessakin is between-session infrastructure that makes therapy work better. it's not therapy, and not a replacement for clinical support. we don't diagnose, we don't advise, and we don't generate clinical reports. we give your clients a structured place to practice the skills you're teaching them. what they share with you in session is theirs to share.

for your practice

experience what your clients will experience.

no special therapist account. sign up, explore the practices, take the quiz. know the tool before you recommend it · and if you're also poly, quiet mode and directory listing are here when you want them.

  • the full platform.

every practice, every game, every space. the same experience your clients will have.

  • a link to share with clients.

send them to tessakin.social when they're ready. no special referral tracking, no data linking.

  • no data sharing.

we never send client data to therapists. your client controls what they show you in session. that's their choice, not ours.

  • the quiz as an intake tool.

recommend the archetype quiz before the first session. “take this before we meet. we'll talk about what comes up.”

  • discretion by default.

quiet mode + private-by-default directory listings + a practitioners space (coming soon) · so your professional presence and personal life can share the platform without stepping on each other.

  • you can DM me directly.
