embers.
what is embers?
pulse is daily. glimmers is weekly. embers has no schedule.
it's there when you both want to go deeper. it waits when you don't. no streak, no notification, no pressure. just an open door you walk through together.

before you start, you each privately set a ceiling: how deep tonight can go. the session never climbs past the most conservative choice. nobody is told who set it. the lowest ceiling silently governs.
three invitations, pick two
each turn, three invitations are drawn. not questions. not dares. invitations.

you each privately pick the two that appeal to you. the one you leave out is never shown, never counted, never surfaced. there is no “pass.” there is no rejection. you only ever choose toward what you want.

the most-picked invitation plays. if you both left out the same card, the remaining two are resolved randomly. either way, what you didn't choose stays invisible. even in a two-person game, there is nothing to infer from what didn't happen.

the climb
embers starts at tier 1: warm. emotional closeness, words only. invitations like:
“tell them the first moment you knew you wanted this.”
“name something they do that you’ve never properly thanked them for.”
“say the thing you think often but say too rarely.”
when you're both ready, you climb. tier 2 is close: affection, light touch, presence. tier 3 is intimate. tier 4 is after dark.
climbing happens only when everyone signals ready. a single “not yet” keeps the night where it is. no one is told who held it. staying at a tier is a complete, valid way to spend the night.

what stays
by default, nothing is recorded. the night is yours.
if you both choose to keep it, the session becomes a moment in your shared archive. over time, embers moments live alongside your pulse milestones and glimmers reveals. one timeline, many ways of tending.

who it's for
embers is for romantic kin. partner, anchor, nesting partner, comet, crush. the invitations are calibrated for people navigating intimacy, desire, and vulnerability together.
it works in the same room or across distance. the mechanic is the same. some invitations are phrased differently depending on whether you're sitting next to each other or on a call.
embers is free on tessakin. start a session with someone you trust.
